Clinical Supervision

Supervision is a space for you to grow and develop as a clinician. As a supervisor, Alyssa is committed to helping you define your goals and supporting you as you reach them. She is a CCE Approved Clinical Supervisor, which means she has met national standards for clinical supervisors, and continues to gain education throughout the year in order to best support you.

She is trained in general clinical practice, along with Synergetic Play Therapy, EMDR, and Theraplay. She is also an adjunct faulty member at Simmons University and the University of Denver, teaching social work students each year. She will help you interweave your theoretical orientation into your practice. She integrates therapist identity, intervention competence, business development/growth, power/privilege awareness, and professional ethics into supervisions sessions.

Are you also working towards your RPT (Registered Play Therapist) credentials? As an RPT-S, your supervision hours with Alyssa will count towards this credential, and we will integrate play therapy competencies into your learning goals.

Supervision occurs more than just in your hourly sessions. As your clinical supervisor, Alyssa is committed to your clients’ well-being along with your growth. She regularly reviews case files, signs needed paperwork, and consults through secure Email as needed. This is all included in your hourly supervision session cost.
